Planted 4 varieties of upright blackberries a little over a year ago. (Prime ark freedom,
Kiowa, Darrow, and Navaho)
Most looked great most of the summer but a couple, particularly Darrow, got hit with some kind of leaf issue.
There are no apparent lesions on the canes.
Is this Septoria?
It does look like Septoria. Usually appears later in the season. I have a mild case here. I only have 30 feet of row, and have the luxury of being able to snip or pinch off most of the affected leaves, and keep the ground clean. Once new-season leaves are an inch or two, I remove all of last season’s leaves.
