Good morning. I have a couple of hundred peach, nectarine, cherry, plum, apricot, and various other stone fruits like pluots here 2 hours north of Sacramento. They are pretty much in full bloom right now. Approximately 3 to 4 years old. In previous years I did not spray the blooms with any kind of fungicide, but I am debating doing that this year. Captan is what I have. does anyone recommend for or against this? I see the almond growers blasting the hell out of their trees with bloom sprays, I guess blasting the petals off doesn’t matter? Thank you.
Actually it’s Ziram, but I do have Captan too. Yes I have a private applicators license.
Do the Peach and Nectarine trees get Peach Leaf Curl?It may be too late this year,to spray for that.
Are there any particularly noticeable diseases, that the trees have?
