Several years ago I planted 4 blueberry plants in an area that gets a little sun in the morning and 2 hrs late in the day, about 3 hrs total. One died. One is 5 ft but no berries. One is spindly with about 20 berries that have no sweetness. The last one is 6 feet with medium sized good tasting berries. I’ve picked 5 lbs of berries from it in three weeks and some are still not ripe.
I don’t know the variety. 6 ft, medium berries, heavy producer with only three hrs sun and ripening over a 4 week period. Could it be Blue Crop or Jersey?
With some internet research I realize it’s not Jersey since that’s a late variety. The leaf color in the fall will narrow it down.
