Last week I just planted a 4 in 1 bare root Jubilee apple tree. If I look close I can see little pink/ red buds starting to form. So I got a small bottle of premixed Bonide copper fungicide to spay it with. But when I read the label it do wasn’t mention apples, only peaches and grapes. I sent Bonide an email asking if it can be used on dormant apple tree, but so far I haven’t gotten a response back. But I’ve read several things in the Internet stating it’s great for apple trees. Do any of you use that on your apple trees?
Thanks
Paul

I apply it to all of my trees and they are fine. I ended up buying the concentrate since after several bottles I realized there was money to be saved.
Thanks,
I’ve read so many things about copper fungicide being used on apple trees, I don’t know why apples are not listed but I’m going to put it on. I always buy concentrate too but for that little bare root tree I couldn’t see cranking up my sprayer. I imagine with it just starting to wake up now is the best time to apply the copper.
Thanks ,
Paul
Look again under Pome Fruits, maybe?

I just got my reply back from Bonide, they said their copper fungicide can be applied to apple trees. But they recommend at least a month ( to establish) before spraying bare root trees.
Thanks,
Paul
