Brown spots on my peaches?

When I started growing blueberries to save time and money on buffering agents I used rainwater. Vinegar is cheap but only temporary lowering of pH. Fine for pesticides not so good for acid loving plant soil. I installed rain barrels under my eves. I also overflow into trash cans. PH is about 5 here in rainwater.
it’s also great for house plants. No mineral rings on pots. And of coarse pesticides. If my wife would let me I would add underground storage. I hate paying for water!
Picked my first blueberries yesterday. So much better than store bought.

Thank you for solving the mystery. I can’t recall if I ever see it rusty spot on my peaches.

Cliff,
Usually if you use tap water, ph of water varies from one place to another.

I just bought ph test strips for measurement. They are cheap. Once I add vinegar, (I use 1 tbsp per gallon of water). Stir the mix well. Test ph of the water with a test strip. I aim at 5.5- 6.0 before I add Captan.
