Buds, Flowers and Fruits- 2025 edition

Just bought one…I think. $60.

Is there a particular description for the roll that you print on?

I got this and an aluminum roll of the same diameter on amazon

Cut off last of the potted Meyer lemons today.

Inside the tape storage compartment it says use dymo 1/2 inch tape.

I am using the aluminum tape… best I remember a roll is 18 ft. long.

What fruit is this?

My overly enthusiastic Crabapple that is supposed to be in the bloom group 2 and work hard on pollinating my other trees, already leafed out and getting the flower clusters ready. Meanwhile all the other apple trees range from fully asleep to only starting to open up the first leaf buds :upside_down_face:

Passionfruit from my “Purple Possum” passiflora edulis.

Maybe hardy kiwi?

Flowering quince bringing lots of pollinators to the yard. Tiger swallowtail.

Also saw my first hummingbird of the season, east central Georgia.

My completely unprotected Oak Leaf papaya which was small to begin with only had 3 inches of die back I am shocked. We had a really cold winter and it was covered by nearly a foot of snow

It has 4 nodes pushing growth now

My crandell clove is waking up…

@Eugeneb … I have a pink flowering crab that starts blooming very early…and blooms long (pollinates my early mcintosh FG2 apple) and when the huge bloom is over it continues to bloom on the limb tips (new growth) for 2 or 3 more weeks. It pollinates my Novamac FG4 tree also.

For me the biggest sign of spring is when the apricots bloom… they came out maybe a week ago. The bees are really going to town on them!
