This is perhaps the most uniquely flavored of all the fresh eating pears I grow, perfumed aromatic flesh with a bit of acid. Tree is quite grower friendly with a naturally spreading form and resistance to foliar issues which sometimes bother other varieties in my pear block. Some years cracking is an issue, but this year most are just about pristine(no spray)
