Top worked 10 callery pears at the farm yesterday with some scions I collected off an ancient heavy producing pear that has been around for several decades. I figure she’s earned a right to be duplicated. She is a disease free reliable tree. Fruit is slightly grainy somewhat similar to a Kieffer but different flavor and larger sized fruit. Got another 10-12 callery yet to go. Will post some updates once the grafts take
