Can all crabapples pollinate regular apple trees?

I saw one named “hargozam” or I think Harvest Gold. I have a snowdrift, but it looked like the “malus hargozam” had not put on buds, so I thought it might overlap my varieties better. My snowdrift is fine, but I wish the blooms would hold off a little longer than they do.

Yes, certainly, crabs pollinate regular apples of commerce. They just have to bloom at the same time…and as you noted, some bloom too early for certain varieties to benefit from cross pollination using them.
