Can deer be trained…

My pet deer has been very helpful pruning and shaping. Here’s an example. I am happy. Has several more to do. No thinning needed next year!!

They don’t need ladders, just feed him one meal a day!

Mine helped develop a bunch of fruiting spurs on an apple and got one of my UoS bush cherries to fruit a year sooner than the others by click pruning them for me. I hadn’t even heard of the technique at the time! Very helpful, indeed!

I assume that’s what they were going for with the potted tomato they ate all the leaves off of overnight. Giving the root system more time to develop, probably.
