My Candy onions had all fallen over. Nice haul, but still not the size I was hoping for. Average 3.5” diameter.

Pulled my first one yesterday, it was about the size of a baseball.
My largest one is that size. Most are a tad smaller, and about a quarter much smaller.
I know you have to cure them if you want to store, but can you eat them right out of the ground without curing?
Yes. Onions are edible any time.
