Caught "red handed" or "purple handed"

To be honest i always thought the term caught red handed likely referred to children picking cherries :cherries: or other red berries before their meal. The truth is darker “The term “red-handed” originated in 15th-century Scotland, referring to someone caught with blood on their hands after committing a crime, such as murder or poaching. It evolved into the phrase “caught red-handed,” which means to be caught in the act of wrongdoing” in my home we used the term differently. We could see where you were and what you have been doing by the color of your hands. Red handed might mean picking berries or cherries. The photo below. Reveals my blueberry fingers!

Aronia are some of the darker berries. After picking aronia everyone will know where you been.

Mulberries are nutritious and will reveal where you have been sspending your day.

Im hoping that my elderberry fruits this year. It’s only its second year in the ground so it’s not a given. But I’d like to make myself some concentrate before cold season roles in again. It may be psychosomatic but i feel better after taking some and its not popular enough to find easily in my area.
