There go my plans of growing stuff in the front yard….
Is that in suburban San Jose?
It is but we do have some empty hilly lots where these guys nest(?)
take up archery and put a tree stand in your yard. only way to deal with horned visitors.
Lead pesticide.
I take backstrap … about a 5 inch long chunk and butterfly cut it to form a nice 3/4 inch thick steak. Season with SPG… and a nice coating of A1 sauce. Wrap in bacon and grill med rare.
Mmmmmm Good.

Looks like a nice buck. There can be quite a bit of wildlife around San Jose, especially as you head out to route 130. If you ever look on a map, it’s crazy how big San Jose actually is.
I have moose that frequently raid my plants in the front yard. There isn’t much you can do other than accept it. I just plant more plants.
I believe you meant to say “copper pesticide”. Lead is banned in California.
As long as it’s moving about 2600 fps copper would work
