Had to go check on waterlines to the cattle waterers today…a mile or more of pipe running through the woods to tanks in the paddocks.
Bright orange Chanterelles were easy to spot throughout the woods. Picked a bunch and brought them home for supper.

Friend said she’d found some indigo milkcap mushrooms last week that were pretty tasty, too.
Puffballs are probably not far off from beginning to pop up in the yard and pastures.
