Che tree issues

I bought a dormant potted che from E.L. 2 winters ago and planted it in the ground. It leafed out and grew a little but then completely wilted and no matter how much or how little I watered it never changed. I felt sure it was going to die but decided to pull it up and pot it in the shade. This helped and it recovered and grew nicely. I planted back in the ground in the fall and this spring it grew and looked healthy but now it has stopped growing and the leaves are starting to yellow. All the trees around it are doing fine and all the trees are treated the same. What do these trees need? I have poor sandy soil but it has been fertilized and it has great drainage.

The tree looks worse than the picture indicates.

Is your Che tree in the shade? Looks like it needs some sun or maybe lack of some nitrogen.

This tree gets sun from sun up until sun down and the small pieces of grass around the base of the tree is dark green. The dwarf mulberry next to it looks great. It is definitely not sun and I don’t think its fertilizer but could be. Used triple 19 with micros and also placed a single Jobes spike nearby.

Why don’t you send Micheal the owner of El your Che photo and explain to him what happen to this Che tree the past 2 years and see if he can helps. His website is eat-it.com and attach the photo to his email.
