I’m not sure if this is unique to our Lowe’s but they have 6 - 8 plant clearance racks in the back of the store. I’ve been going up there every couple of days to review the clearance plants and have scored tons of high priced perennials for 90% off (99% of the plants are in excellent health). Today I got a pair of variegated yellow coreopsis, 2 yellow yarrows and a pair of awesome looking Denver daisy rudbeckias for $10. Great way to build out your flower garden or orchard boundary for cheap!

I got some Lowe’s clearance perennials last week as well. I saw a similar yarrow for sale but I’m not sure if it’s invasive or not I planted some in CA and was surprised to see it sprouting up everywhere in cracks between pavement from seeds off the mother plant I presume.
I’ve cleaned up on some vegetables recently at the hardware stores but I did ask if they would make me a deal. The person working said “I’d give them to you but the boss said give you 50% off”. I think most perennials have been sold here.
I got emails alerting me to 50% sales from catalogs. Apparently the time for this is right before memorial day
Mondays are generally the best time to find discount plants at lowes or the depot
