Cherry tree grafts

Here are some pics of a cherry tree that I just received from Online Orchards, ( ordered through Home Depot ) I have two trees but only pictures of one. They were grafted, I believe about 6” above the root crown which is normal, and then both trees have an ugly graft union about 3 feet high with hardly anything of the variety I wanted.

Is this normal?
Has anyone else ever seen this?

I don’t even hardly want to plant these trees as displeasing as they look.

Will the scar ever heal that is on the rootstock?

This looks like a older physical damage. Assuming the tree grows well, when the trunk enlarges, it should close up. When the trunk is sufficiently large enough, it should be indiscernible.
