Hello I have a cherry variety unknown had small clusters of blossoms. I brought as a seedling off eBay years ago . Never fruited shiney leaves its a cherry but I have no idea . I was gonna cut it down then I figured I’d graft onto it . Can you graft a Romeo variety to a standard cherry or bush cherry type .

only sour cherry that will take on a sweet cherry is Montmorency. it has some sweet cherry lineage. i have 2 types of sweet cherry grafted on my monty and they are growing well.
Ok thank you . I’m hoping it’s a sweet variety because I sho put two small grafts on it yesterday 1 from Romeo other from Juliet lol 
I have some montmorency grafts came in the other day I’ll try them also thanks .

Romeo and Juliet are hybrids that don’t have any sweet cherry in them.
