Cherry trees in wet clay

We live in the southern Willamette Valley in Oregon. We planted 2 cherries in clay soil 2 years ago. They seem to be doing fine but we just dug a hole closeby and the hole filled with water (wet spring here). We decided to not plant what we were going to in that hole but anyone have an opinion on if we should move the nearby cherries that are a little downhill so most likely just as wet? Thanks!

Sweet cherries are not tolerant of wet feet. Sour cherries are more tolerant. My first question is what type of cherries are they?

I use mounds in my sketchy areas… working so far… lots of threads about it…links to them in this thread.

They are sweet. Stella and something else. Seems we will have to move them, thanks for your input!
