I just did my first experimenal chip bud grafts on one of my peach trees.
Has anyone else tried it this time of year?

I did two cleft grafts on my peach tree this fall. I already unwrapped it to take a look. Couldn’t resist. I see that one took and the other one didn’t. I didn’t unwrap them completely so I’m not really sure.
I also did a chip bud on apple. I didn’t unwrap
It to see what’s happening. Also did 3 chip buds on pear. These were kind of experimental/practice grafts. Not different varieties. Just using wood from one branch and grafting it to the other to see if it takes.
