Cleaned out crisper to throw out remaining sions, close to a year old. Found a bag of Stella cuttings still alive and growing. How could that be?

Lot of energy stored in those cuttings, and at fridge temps, they’ve been slow to use it.
They’ll probably root if you pot them up
