Id wondered why he had grown quiet in the last 6 months. Powell Gammill who was known on the Dave Wilson forums, old Gardenweb, and here as FascistNation has passed away at the age of 59. Powell and I never really got along well. Opinionated people rarely do. I attended one talk he gave at the Arizona Rare Fruit Growers in which he kept on exclaiming “but those damn farmers” do this and that to ruin our fruit!
