Collecting and storing pawpaw pollen

I have 2 pawpaw trees, one is going to bloom the other was killed to the ground by ambrosia beetles last year. I plan to graft the growth from the rootstock soon. We have native pawpaw trees blooming now along the lake but my tree is about 2 weeks behind. What is the best way to store pollen for a couple of weeks so I can pollinate my one mature tree?

I breed raspberries, and pollen can be frozen for long term storage, but must be dry! I would think 2 weeks in the fridge would be fine.

Two weeks is fine if I just cut the flower off and place in fridge or do I need to first remove the pollen and then dry?
