Hello,
This is the second leaf of my Comice, but it’s never produced flowers. I thought it would be a good pollinator companion to my Red Bartlet, which is in full bloom (see pictures below).
What’s the deal with the Comice?
I have room for a third pear, any suggestions for pollination compatibility ?

Some spur-bearing fruits don’t make flowers on young spurs. Summer pruning in July could help.
Those trees are still pretty young. I’m surprised the bartlett is flowering. Pears take a few years to get in gear. Harrow Sweet is the fastest flowering pear I have seen.
