These are standard concord which look very similar.

I have one of those… love it.

4/15/2020… we got around 26 degrees… my seedless concord was way out with growth and small fruit buds already… all turned black and fell off.

It came back and leafed out and grew nice branches… but did not produce fruit again.

Failed 1 year out of 15 or so. Lost all apples and peaches that year too.

Concord is the best. Best tasting and easiest to grow. My seedless has seeds though.

My favorite grape!

@Robert … mine are seedless… no seeds at all.

Very good flavor (tartness) with enough sweetness to cover that.

My clusters and grapes are somewhat small though… i can cover most with a 4x6 organza bag. A few clusters had to use larger bags on.

The birds love them… me too… if i dont bag mine the birds will get most.

My sister has a really nice reddish purple grape (seeded) and it is very vigorous and produces large clusters of large grapes. She does not remember her variety.

I definately prefer the seedless for freah eating… just wish mine were more abundant larger grapes and clusters.

Concord seedless despite their couple of shortcomings reliably crop every year. Sure they are supposedly seedless though have seeds in my climate. They don’t all ripen at the same time. They do have great crops and a nice flavor. Rumor has it now they are in fact related to concord! I’m going to believe UC Davis who says they are a sport Foundation Plant Services

Do you have any Swenson red plants available? That is one I could not get this year.

ive got a few started but they probably wont be established enough to ship until closer to fall, I didnt start many and I need a couple also, PM me a little later in the summer and we can figure it out. if nothing else I could send cuttings next spring early if you want.

Sounds good thanks

Has anyone tried girdling Concord Seedless grapevines to increase the berry size? I do it to all of my seedless grapevines, as well as Fredonia, an early Concord variety with seeds; and I see a definite increase in size. I now have a Seedless Concord vine planted 4 years ago and am thinking of girdling it for the first time. It’s planted in a very unfavorable location and has been growing more slowly than some other vines planted at the same time; so, the main stem is still pretty thin.
