Could anyone tell me best source for large sized blueberry

I haven’t tried Dimeo, but their reviews on the Garden Watchdog are… interesting.

I’ve had good luck with Indiana Berry, Burnt Ridge, Raintree and Gurney’s. Gurney’s has Kabluey, which is my favorite variety for backyard growing. But it’s a smaller berry.

I average maybe 75% getting bareroot blueberries established. You’ll do better if you water more often than me.

I don’t know, I imagine I get 90+ percent to live in containers at least for the first year.
I have a few that are 10 or more years old in containers….and I water quite sporadically. But keep the plants in the shade most of the day.

In-ground…I think I’m batting close to 100%.

<Yes plants kept in shade don’t crop so good.>

As you should! They’re hardy. I just go straight into the ground with some peat moss mixed in though, so droughts in the first year are rough. I have yet to lose a healthy plant once it’s established.

Raoul, are you still tuned in? I don’t know if anyone is sure if you meant large plants or plants that produce large berries.

Enjoy yourself, Raoul. It’s more fun when you’re new and eager.

Surely will do that , thanks

We grew high bush blueberries with a number of varieties to lengthen the harvest season. Our farm was in a cold pocket so we started with mid-season varieties that bloomed later in an attempt to avoid losing the blossoms to frost.

Our stock came from Toms River, New Jersey and our varieties were: Berkley, Coville, Herbert, Early Blue, Blueray, Bluecrop, Collins.
