This tree has been in for a few weeks and is leafing out fine. Today I noticed this damage near the graft union…should i be concerned? You can probably see where i scratch tested the root and it is green. Is there anything i should attempt to do to help it? I’m not sure what could have caused it.
You can try to wrap one layer of the black electrical tape over the wound and just watch the tree the next few months or so to see if it will leaf out. If not then ask for a replacement.
