If I had room to grow more than one “honey” type fig it would be Deanna 
When I bought it it was supposed to be a tiger panache (and at the time I didn’t know to look for telltale striped new wood) but I like it much better than the excel we already had! What other honey type do you grow?

Could you graft it on, Richard? Or does your pruning style not allow for that?
I don’t grow multigraph plants. However, I do trade fruits with my neighbor Paul who has a nice specimen of Deanna.

Very nice to have neighbors that grow fruits. Most of my neighbors don’t. What a waste given our almost perfect climate for it. What’s wrong with them???
