How good are DK figs? Mine are ripening now, which seems early, but have no flavor, totally bland. They are overly soft and are dropping from the tree, is this normal. I know the main crop won’t form in the SE but I thought the breba did fine.

DKs are supposed to be pretty decent. Have you received a lot of rain recently? Too much water when the figs are almost ripe will sometimes cause them be become bland and also increases the risk of splitting. Your tree looks to be a decent size, but it’s tough to tell from the picture. Fruit from a young tree is often sub-par the first year or two.
