The melons turned out great! Hard to beat Dessert King in Kansas! We had a very wet year so we have had dozens of melons but this 20 pounder is the largest! Best or one of the best melons we ever ate! We have used the same seeds we save for the last 10-15 years since we grew no other type of watermelon. Previously we grew a strain of dessert king given to have a pink melon occasionally instead of all yellow. My mother loves these and could not wait to cut this one!
