Is anyone growing this huge European type pear from Turkey? If so, what is the fruit quality like? I know Clifford England has it. Cricket Hill Garden has it.

I have it grafted on two trees, so far good vigor and no leaf spot/ rust

Do you know if Deveci is compatible with callery rootstock? Or maybe quince?

I’ve found a study with the following abstract:
"Abstract. The aim of present study was to determine the effects of three rootstocks
[quince BA 29 and EMC (Cydonia oblonga), and seedling of P. communis] on sugars
and organic acid contents in ‘Deveci’ pear (Pyrus communis L.) cultivar during 2011-
2015 years. "
Accordingly, Deveci can be grafted on quince and european pear seedling.

Since it works on quince it probably works on Callery.
