If you ever ate an unripe American persimmon we only say like them afterwards. Love turns to mistrust and you wait for at least 2 of the heavy freezes afterwards.

Do yours ever lose all their astringency?
I like my Jiro, mostly dried, but I keep getting some cotton near the skin or seeds on my Prairie Star. Don’t know if that’s normal for American persimmon (this is my first) or if I’m just too impatient with my picking.
