Does anyone have any experience to share about growing apricots or plumcots on Citation in the Northeast? We are a zone 5a. Just received a Hesse plumcot and a Paviot apricot on Citation.
I’m also very curious about where citation does well. I’m in the Carolina piedmont. I read heresay that hot weather causes problems with peach compatibility, but i have no circumstantial or scientific evidence.
I can now report back that both of those trees had their first gangbuster crops in 2021! The Hesse was beautiful and tasty. The Paviot was spotted (calcium deficiency?) but a true apricot taste.
