I’ve had drip emitters the last 4 years since planting my fruit trees and figure it was time to spread the watering out more and to wet all the ground so all the roots get some water. The problem I now have is the I cant water my 8 fruit trees all at once since my well system only has pressure to run 12 of these sprayers so I now have to water 3 separate zones. I figured this might happen since I was water a 4’ diameter at each tree and now I’m trying to water a 8’ diameter.
Are there better sprayers to cover a 8’ diameter?
Would it be best to put down 1/2" drip emitter hose with the emitters every 12" and spiral it around the tree to the 8’ diameter? This would be about 60’ of hose at each tree so I still might not be about to water all the trees at once?
I have pomegranates, apple, olive, plums and pear trees.
Is it better to water just around the trunk or like I’m doing spraying farther away from the trunk at this age?

It depends on what your water pressure is, but this is what I thought of first:
This looks be the improved, more user-friendly version of the micro spray stakes that I purchased a bunch of years ago. By using the 360 degree nozzle,

placing it a little distance away from the trunk and angling the stake so the water directed at the tree trunk has a higher inclination, you will be able to cover nearly a complete circle. In order to get the maximum pressure and flow you will want to stick with your large diameter supply mains and run a 1/4 line that is not overly long. Orbit makes a plug product to fill the extra holes in your mains so you don’t have to purchase new tubing.
Alternatively, you could place two of the 180 degree nozzles on opposite sides of the tree trunk.

That looks more what I was looking for, nice coverage and I might be able to use less sprayer at each tree, thanks.
The ones I just installed are okay but they only cover about a 2’ diameter.
I used 2 of these $10 ring sprinklers when I fertilized last month and it worked pretty good oscillating from a 8’ to the 2’ diameter as my well pressure dropped from 70 to 40 psi so it has pretty good coverage. I would have to buy 7 of them and figure out how to tie them into my 1/2" solid drip line. Another good thing is that they can water over a 30’ diameter if need be in the future.
I also thought about these but I can’t find any good videos how the spray pattern really works.
