Anyone growing this one? I’m wondering if anyone has any personal experience with this variety. I can find very little information about it. It’s supposed to be cold hardy, a large, sweet, melting pear with few grit cells, ripe in Early September, according to the St. Lawrence Nurseries and Elmore Roots sites. I’d like to know if it’s fireblight resistant, and a reliable annual producer of decent crops (and any other information you can provide on it).
