Edible Viburnums

I picked the opulus on ornamental value alone. I’ve also heard opulus smell and taste like wet socks.

Unfortunately, zero of the Viburnums I got from Classic Viburnums survived. They were all definitely alive at time of arrival, but none ever leafed out and grew. Bummer, since they had some varieties I have not seen available anywhere else and they’re retired now…

One of mine was murdered in shipping, can’t remember which. They sent one wrong plant also and didn’t send one I did order. Most others survived. If they make it through my current bad winter, I’ll update.
