Edit: Lime Identification Needed: Thai lime and female flowers

Wow, that’s really surprising… I’ll definitely need to find one of the agricultural researchers on my campus and ask them about it!

I’ve been looking at Universities with citrus experts and trying to see who looks like they might help! :slightly_smiling_face: Let me know if you find out anything! I’ll post
if I get a response back.

Do the leaves have superlative fragrance and flavor like the makrut limes? Maybe you are onto something.

You can graft it, and have a head start.

They do! Which is what fooled me. I had a true makrut before (produced one lime and it was very bumpy) and the leave smell was similar enough that I didn’t question that the new one was what they said. But now I’m not sure that the leaves are as strong in aroma. I’ll know next year when the makrut I just ordered arrives. A friend took some leaves because he uses them to brew beer each year and he thought the aroma from my plant was the same as store bought leaves.
