El Niño is Here

Substantial rain in CA in Sept is a very rare thing. Nov-March storms from the northwest will be the determining factor if the drought is to end. If substantial rain ends up arriving in Sept-Oct I will be both relieved and worried. Too weird.

We got a nice soaking out of this storm. The ground is still pretty moist around the lot.

So glad you guys got that much rain. Also happy the guys fighting the fire up north got a break too!

I just saw this article about different scenarios concerning the weather. Brady

We are having thunder right now.

It just got cool enough for me to spray neem oil on my tomatoes. We’ve been pegged at about 100* or more for a while. Just a bit of cloud cover has been welcomed. No rain yet here.

The deck got wet here in San Jose, CA. There is this boomerang storm out and about in the area. It gave SoCal rain last week, circled over New Mexico and is headed back after a trip to the Pacific warm waters. What a weird summer this has been!
