" Orchard tour and persimmon fruit tasting event
13 Oct 2025 which is Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples Day - 10am to 5pm, come earlier and stay later and some stay all day.
There is many Air B&Bs nearby logging locally in the area.
The orchard that we will be touring this year is the newest of the 3 orchards held at
England’s Orchard and Nursery

All trees were planted beginning 2013 to present
Fee is $25 per Person, Bartering is excepted
Those that attend will be allowed to Taste / Eat anything on the Farm 20 + acres of Fruit and Berries
Picking and purchasing of fruit at the event is permitted Persimmon, Pawpaw, Jujubes and CHE, the later ripening Asian Pear will be ripened by that time.
"Drinks are provided water and Soda and Coffee / tea as last year we had a little shower of rain for about an hour and that time of the year it can be cool so dress accordingly at our elevation 1800 to 2000 feet on top of the Foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.
We will have BBQ on site. Bowman’s Baby Butt BBQ Um’ um Good
Head count will be held to about 100 visitors or so AS We are Flexible on that number to some extent
Please No Pet please as we do have livestock unless they remain on a leash
