I was going to buy an additional Espalier Apple tree this year but when the nursery fell though on my order I decided to grow it my self. I am using G.202 root stock. Nothing to see just yet but I will update the thread as I grow.

The Lead candidate for the Apple. Well the only candidate.
I will remove the side shoots soonish so it can focus on the top as a new central leader.

I realize now I didn’t not need two threads for this but hear goes anyway.
Apple nearly 1 year later. Very nice growth. I will start training it and perform scion grafts when the scaffolds are large enough.

Nothing to see here I put the tree in the wrong spot in the ground and had to move it over about a foot and a half during a mild period this early spring.

I agree with @dimitri_7a I have been very curious to grow an espalier myself and this thread should provide some good experience!
