Euro Plum Problem

Hey everyone, I am having a strange issue with my French Prune. Some of the fruit are developing a small ripe patch and then fail off the tree. I have cut them open and pests are not the problem. There does seem to be some brown droplets coming from the ripened area.

Any ideas?

I have a thirteen year old Italian Prune Plum, it does the exact thing every early summer. I just put it off to ‘June drop’. The tree is fine. The viable plums will hang on and ripen. Prune plums, seem to have their own editing service.
