How do you like the Mt. Royal? Worth growing w/ my Stanley?
I planted a French plum (from Treesofantiquity), now in the 4th year in northern FL. First two years I thought it would not make it. Lost most leaves in the summer. But then last year I started regular antifungal sprays (Captan plus Merivon), and it did really well. I think it’s still struggles somewhat with bacterial spot, but not too bad. I am thinking about adding another variety for better pollination. Any recommendations? I am primarily looking forward to plum pie (with cream).
