Every fruit is large, apricots

To add to this, natural sun and heat help the ripening process, making apricots (I find) more sweet and juicy. The store varieties are picked on the greener, hard side. Even if you let them soften on your counter top for a few days they are better but still lack taste and juicyness. I found it the most difficult fruit to grow in the States. Spring frosts got them every year. Next spring will bring my first home grown apricots in a long while. The apricots here are juicy and sweet and some more tart than others.
