Is this a breba fig growing on the cutting I am attempting to root? If so, should I remove it to focus energy on roots and leaves?

Don’t worry about it. I’d leave it on to keep processes moving in the plant until it is fully rooted.
Also, with indoor figs it is speculative to say whether a syconium (fig) is spring, summer, or winter crop.

I have 2 on my two fig cuttings from my own tree, so I just let nature takes care of it. I don’t even eat Breba figs here.

Thank you. I had removed two others earlier and this one popped up. I’ll leave it and hopefully have a rooted cutting soon!
