First Fruit of the season (fruitlets)

I am amazed at the incredible difference two zones to the warmer climes can make. I waited 10 years in RI to grow my first apricot and that is what I got, one apricot. This is the second year in a large pot for my Rouge de Roussillion apricot to bloom and fruit. There were not tons of blooms like on my mirabelle, but there must be over 100 fruitlets. I am in awe of this weather and how it treats trees. It is the second year in a row I have been patient and not having to fight late frosts and other pests. I use neem oil, and bordeaux mix. That is it. And, of course, prune. My new cherry is starting to leaf out as is my new Reine des Reinettes apple. Also my new variegated lemon is in flower and has new fruit as well. This is definitely not RI. I am grateful.

Looks like my greenhouse, but, better! You have more fruit than my pots.

Good job, Mrs. G!

Thanks Dax. Even though I have twenty fewer trees, the work still takes time! Always worth it.
