Flanders and Texas Everbearing fig (Report)

Flanders (L) Texas Everbearing (R)

Flanders (L) LSU Gold (C) Texas Everbearing (R)

Both Flanders and Tx Everbearing have tough skins. They taste OK. Seem to be later harvest. I grow in pots and produced first figs on 10.3.2026. Nothing that exciting, but doable and welcome if the verdict is no figs at all. Guess I’d like a little better if the skin was not so tough. It is hard to chew it with bad teeth. Now I know why my mom used to peel her figs in L.A. Her teeth had issues as well.
