'Flavor Delight', they have been a delight

This has turned out to be a well behaved and productive tree with excellent fruit. I highly recommend it.

Never mealy with a nice apricot tang.

Here’s the initial story on this tree: This year's Backyard Orchard Culture planting

My favorite!

It has surpassed ‘Royal Blenheim’ as my favorite 'cot. Yeah, it’s an aprium as a marketing term, but it’s an apricot with some plum parentage to me.

Flavor delight has been a production machine for me. Better growth and production than most other apricots on the east coast. Well worth buying.

Good to see you post, Clint!!

Similar question too. What’s the growth habit of the flavor delight tree? Is it upright or spreading? Thanks

The growth habit is controlled by pruning, for me that’s mostly from Summer pruning. It’s an average fruit tree, it isn’t columnar nor particularly spreading by nature.
