That’s what I thought too but i didn’t find any insects inside. Not sure if it is just prone to disease? Let me know if your tree gets better. I will keep you updates on my tree too.

@John_P so maybe happens this problem a lot on flavor punch. Hopefully it heals by itself. It’s very good news about no insect inside the tree and harvest time in your zone. Made me less worry. Keeps updating John. Thank you.

My Flavor Punch (first leaves) in bloom now. Hopefully it will set some fruits this Spring. So excited.

@tutti-frutti flavor punch fruit sets nothing for this year. All a little fruitlets dropped. A little disappointed however it’s better than Candy heart. It’s very promising. I just trimmed down a bit because strong windy. Keep waiting for next year.
Splash Pluot and Sweet treat set fruit better than Flavor Punch.

Hey, not sure if you had learned more on the disease issue back in September 2023. I found this on One Green World’s website and it might help if still fighting The issue, “Bacterial Canker can occasionally damage trunks or branches. Symptoms of this disease are exudations of amber-colored sap. Spraying lime-sulfur or copper in the fall and early spring can help control Bacterial Canker.” Hope this helps!!
