Contributions of Floyd Zaiger are countless. This gentleman has taken fruit quality to a much higher level in the United States and elsewhere in the world. Condolences to the Zaiger family.

I am very grateful to Floyd for the amazing pluots, nectarines, apriums that he has developed… In respect and gratitude to the memory of this wonderfully creative man, I invite Dave Wilson nursery to let hobbyist growers have access to commercial varieties that they have been prohibiting us from. It is a shame to have many great varieties of fruit, that are products of the work of such genius, be available only to humanity as tasteless colorful balls at supermarket shelves…
