It is difficult to out give Mike @39thparallel fruit! I brought him a small sack of several types of pears which were half the normal size from the severe drought. Mike lives in the rich fertile bottoms and certainly you can see that from his incredibly productive and delicious fruit! This year he gave me some wonderful asian pears, white peaches, and most recently incredible persimmons and sunflower pawpaw. Nikita’s gift has a wonderful flavor! The early golden are exceptionally sweet and smaller! That first bite of Nikita’s gift for the year was amazing! What could be better? I’m not much for measuring brix but you can tell by the photo Nikita’s gift is so sweet you don’t need to worry about it!

I had fun hanging out with @clarkinks I always learn something new about growing fruit and native plants. I wish i would have discovered persimmons before I planted many 100s of apples and pears. I’m super excited about propagating and growing them. Named Astringent Persimmons are a real treat, you could not buy at any market here with minimum insect and disease pressure .
